HAND AND EYE PAPER HANGING IS A WOMAN-OWNED, OLYMPIC PENINSULA-BASED WALLPAPER HANGING OUTFIT FOUNDED AND RUN BY HEIDI TUCKER.
Heidi is a lover of beauty and finds it in many things and places. She was fortunate to grow up in the Pacific Northwest, where beauty is abundant. She’s worked in many different fields to support herself: as a nanny, a dishwasher, an used bookseller, a fish processor in Alaska, a barista, a cook, an early childhood educator and Waldorf teacher, a colorist for a design company, a house painter, a restaurant owner, and now, happily as a wallpaper hanger. Through all these endeavors, she carries with her the spirit of an artist. Hanging beautiful papers and transforming spaces is a wonderful culmination of her skills and interests. Her artistic talents, strong work ethic and attention to detail shows through her work. She is very passionate and dedicated to perfecting the skill of hanging all varieties of wallpapers with efficiency, agility and precision.
Please peruse through the gallery of past work and feel free to get in touch about project ideas. She is located in Port Townsend, WA and works mainly on the peninsula, but is intrigued by the idea of traveling with her profession.
